Template Tutorial

im looking for a template tutorial.
i know how to make a template, but how to get it working on Proboards.

i hope some1 out there has made a Template Tutorial already.
otherwise would be awesome if some1 could make one.

I think what he probably means is a tutorial explaining how to code up a skin. I'm sure I've seen one around before - if I find it then I'll edit it into my post.

hi,

im about how to install the graphics.

i.e. on Socal there are some tribals along the sides of the board, how do i include that into proboards.

i have done graphics and templates before
with photoshop cs2 and dreamweaver

but i dont have a clue how i make all that work in proboards.

That is a background. You'd have to put the URL in the Background Image URL form and then centre the image using CSS.

I suggest taking a look through the Skins/Forum Colors area - Modify Skin and Customise Images especially.

Oh ok that's a background-image in css set on repeat-y and top center position. For a bit more info then go to w3schools. The CSS you make goes in the board header wrapped inside a style tag. This is probably more suited to the coding board.

I have my own tutorial on how to create/upload a PB template, but I haven't posted it on any PB yet XD

here's one I found, might be what you're looking for incase you need clarification. But everyone pretty much summed it all up

I'm currently working on one right now but it's a huge job. It won't be ready for release for a while.
