I just experimented with a new layout...Most of the effects are just a simple Gaussian Blur + Blending Options...Could I get some rates and feedbacks? I'm pretty much a n00b a PS CS2.

It's an interesting idea.

I think the film is quite well made, but doesn't look too realistic. Take a look at a real film strip perhaps (if you still have one from an old compact camera, perhaps), it's translucent. The images used in the strips all look realistic though, and keep to the theme.

For a busy signature, I think the focus is quite clearly shown. Perhaps extend the glow just a little more so we can see the focus. The manipulation on the middle seems to work well, and all the colours seem to work well together.

The text - I don't suggest pixel fonts. My personal favourite are Sans Serif fonts (eg Arial), which can be used at many sizes. Try just putting "Slain" there with a bit of layer style edits perhaps, then the pixel font on soft light behind it.

It's a very good design. However, the film looks very good, but doesn't look realistic as Anselm said, try making it look realistic by adding gradient effects, and so on.

I am unsure about the blur, maybe you could unblur the image in the centre of all the film, and maybe add a shine effect to the person in the middle which is already there.

Use fonts like Arial and Verdana, they make the best effects.

I like the film strips and the border is sweet. However, i think the guy in the center is extremely...blurred? or of just low quality. Also, text is slightly hard to read.
