GDD; Re-vamped?

Well i was thinking about the old Graphic Design Discussion, and how busy Hectic it was.

And version 2 is so. .Calm. I mean i have nothing against this, i think it must be the best thing to have happened to GDD, and i personally wish to thank the Moderators and Admins of Proboards Support for making the changes for us.
Also for going to the big effort of finding old threads that existing members wish to have restored, and doing so.

The new rules are great, the old members, which, for example caused alot of trouble, have all disappeared.
I wonder what happened to them all, have they been warned away? or possibly just realized how much trouble they were actually causing and just simply decided to take a vacation from it all?

I wonder. what are your thoughts on everything? do you think the new GDD is a good add to the forum? or not?

Do you think the battle board is an ingenious idea? or not?.



I think this thread is a good idea, which lets new and old members of the Graphics society give positive opinions on the surroundings of PBS.

I like the battle board idea. That way here its not spamming this board and threads don't get lost easily

I've always liked the Battle Board idea, and with the amount of battles we get it should calm things down a bit. The form is ingenious too.

Obviously, we have looked at the rules, revamped them, and we have warned or banned troublemakers. We've had one problem which I promptly sorted out, but other than that, it's been good.

All old posts were archived too, and I was modded just to help kez out a bit.

Overall, it's a change for the better, and I hope that attitudes can change and this will become a place for designers to get better and new designers to come into the fold. That's what we want and that's what we'll get, as long as everyone cooperates.
