Alright, I have two computers; a desktop and a laptop. The laptop has a 17.5" screen, and the desktop a 15". Background images on the larger screened computer repeat themselves, and backgrounds on the smaller screen look just fine.
Is there anyway to just have the images fit the screen, no matter what size it is?

Im sure there should be a "Fit Screen" or something of that nature when you choosing your Background Image.

I'm going to assume you're using Windows for this:
Right click on desktop>properties>Desktop>look around for your image>position>Stretch
Note: This will make the image pixelated if it is smaller than your screen.

check your screen resolution and make your backgrounds that size
also, you can choose full screen or tiling, so make sure full screen is ticked
