First in a little while

Not done one for a while so I decided to try something a bit different. I know it's nothing special but comments and rates please (btw I don't really know why the quality looks slightly dodgey - I think it might just be the original stock or maybe I sharpened it right at the start or something).

Quality: well, it looks like an old book, and I think you've captured the scene well in that way. Good job on that

I'm liking the general idea here, and the colours are used well, and flow. My one comment is that the sun is too bright and needs toning down a bit. Maybe add a bit of texture to it too.

That stock just looks like you just took a picture of the next guy who walked buy. The stock quality is low, there is no focal, maybe even sharpen here a bit. Colors are a bit mono as well. Add some more effects too. Sorry.

Yea but if I sharpen it then the quality gets even worse. And that was a photo by a recommended photographer on sxc.hu I really didn't knoww what to do with it - effects would've killed it imo - I guess I'd've been better off doing an LP. Thanks for the comments both of you.

I like it. The circle of light is way too bright, though and the edges on it are fairly sharp. I like the wavy thing in the center. Maybe put more in. It looks lonely. Yah... I don't know what else to say. 8P

I put two of them in (the other one is on the far right) but for some reason they turned out a bit dodgily so I decided not to do any more. Might've looked better if I'd completly penned them rather than just stroking a line with a hard brush. Anyway, thanks for the comments.
