[/i]amp Riverside. In the first eleven years of its existence, it was a place where anything could happen, a place where kids came to just be...well, kids. The owner, Mr. Satun, was a man who could have cared less what the children did...as long as they came to his camp. Perhaps in the first couple of years, it was a fine establishment; perhaps Mr. Satun actually wanted the kids to have a structured summer. But sometime between year one and year five, things changed. He no longer cared. If you wanted to go out to the local club? Go right ahead. It didn't concern him--given that their parents paid for them to come. All was well.C
A[/i]nd, in its prestigious eleventh year, things began to go wrong. Cera Satun, the owner's daughter, started causing a bit of trouble at camp. The horse stables were burned down, among other things, and Riverside was on the verge of closing. Mr. Satun just couldn't handle his personal life and the camp at the same time. Luckily for the campers, a new owner entered the scene--all the way from Europe.
M[/i]r. Soren Cristiano bought the camp on a whim, hoping that his teenaged daughter would benefit from a summer with kids of her own age. Little did he know that Sophia would rebel against the fact. After all, why would a seventeen year old girl want to come to a camp across the ocean? To appease his daughter, Mr. Cristiano fixed up the camp--upgrading virtually everything. Now rather high-end, it was sure to bring in a wide variety of children.
And colorful people brought problems.
P[/i]roblems... Cristiano would have none of those." He set up a new system of rules to prevent just that. There would be no more sneaking out at night, no more parties, no more late night games, nothing that could create trouble. Now, rules are nothing without consequences to back them up; Cristiano was smart enough to realize this. Three strikes and you're out. For the first infraction, three days in the isolation cabin. The second? Seven days. And if it comes to the third? Said camper is sent home.
R[/i]eally, unless you're in favor with Sophia, there is no way to escape this fate. While everyone believes her father runs the camp, Sophia holds quite a bit of pull with her father. She has him wrapped around her little finger, and is one of the few that can get away with anything she pleases. To make sure she stays within the rules, her father has hired Cospon Madden, a nineteen-year-old who has been arrested numerous times for various crimes, to keep an eye on her. What was Cristiano thinking? Perhaps deep down he knows that Sophia needs a little structure in her life.
