need help with this code please

i have this code for a countdown timer for the anniversary of my forum. ive tryed many things but i just cant figure out how to get the contdown timer centered, even when i put <centre> in the open tags bit and </centre> in the close tags bit. can u please help.

like i said i did add them but they wouldnt work as soon as i added the date for it to count down to
