Is there a way I can have it show up anywhere beside the mini profile? Not with the plugin as-is. Where are you wanting it to appear?

Thank you! That fixed the issue and now the overlay Deceased Image displays in the thread list. Appreciate the quick response. Your welcome.

I will look into all of your requests.. It should be possible, but give me some time as I'm snowed under with other stuff right now. Feel free to give me a nudge from to time if you think I'm taking too long. Just checking in to see if you've had time to work on these at all. Also, I've been testing the Deceased Image and I can't get it to work. Within a thread the monster image still displays (without any deceased image), but in the thread list there is now no image at all to show that there is a monster being fought. It looks like the newest version of the plugin has completely removed the monster image feature from the thread list. Well that was a strange issue... Can you please try Version 0.1.52

Just to clarify, I want Important Threads above Recent Threads. Not what your attachment is showing. In your forum layout, you have a <div> cell with the ID Important_Threads, change that to ITCell, and then, in the plugin settings, put ITCell in the Alternate Cell ID option. Save, and all should be good.

Ahh, just discovered that Important threads is now lower down than before. Instead of me fiddling around with the settings, could you help out please? I'd like it at the top. That is, just above Recent Threads. Thank you. It is above recent threads... Is this not what you are seeing? Attachments:

I guess I'm only now getting back to this. Thank you for the response. Where can I find that setting? In the Admin Panel, select 'Members' then 'Member Groups'. You should be presemted with a list of all the groups you have on your forum. Choose the group you want to change, and click 'Edit' in the 'Powers' column, 6th option down is the 'Bump and Fall' power...

Hello Todge I seem to have lost the ability to create Important Threads. I've logged out and back in again and restarted my computer. In desperation I've also deleted the plugin and re-installed. I still can’t see it. The posts I need to be made important are the last 9 in Latest Topics or Recently Updated Threads. If it’s any help, I successfully marked 8 of the posts and realised I’d forgotten one. (Three Matches (Tue 10 Jan – Thu 12 Jan)) When I went to add that post, I went to the Actions, then Moderate menus and accidently marked it as Make Announcement. I then clicked Remove Announcement, went back to the home page and found the other 8 posts had disappeared. Sorry to be a pain. Thanks Todge. Thank you.. It looks like the plugin key is corrupt. Try clearing the key data and see if it starts working.

Ahhh.. Sorry, I thought you meant hiding emails in POSTS.. While my explanation against a plugin still stands, it would not be against PB rules to change something that is there by default, though it would still be easily circumvented. bigballofyarn's solutions is the best, and would be totally secure.

As it stands currently, we have some custom HTML to filter what groups are able to view certain aspects on user profiles. I'm not 100% certain if it can be censored using HTML alone..? Every reference I've viewed online includes Javascript and it's unfortunate that it won't work on Proboards. The current system we have works, so I guess we can stick with that for now. Thank you for the response! There is another option.. I wrote a 'Whisper Tag' plugin that allows you to post whispers to members of your choice. Only the members you kist will see the whispers, and the text is encrypted at the point of posting, so if JS was disabled, all the user would see is a bunch of random characters. Whisper TagsThere is no reason why that couldn't be used to hide emails within posts.

Bumping is a ProBoards controlled operation and can only be allowed/disallowed for certain groups within your forums settings.
Plugins cannot override PB's software in that way. Sorry.

While JavaScript is quite capable of hiding email addresses like you are asking, it is fraught with danger, and may even be against PBs rules.
JS can easily be turned off, it also doesn't currently work on the mobile app, so anyone wanting to see your hidden email addresses can do so pretty easily.
If you really want to share email addresses with anyone on your forum, it's best to do so with a private message.

In the plugin settings, under the 'Recent Threads' tab, you'll find the option asking.. 'Would you like to display recently updated threads, or only recently CREATED threads?' option. Make sure that 'All Posts' is NOT selected. The duplicates will then start to disappear as more posts are made. But will the new posts in old threads then be shown in the list? Or only newly created threads? Because I understand the written as if only newly created threads will be shown, not old threads updated with new posts. Selecting All Updated Threads means that any thread that receives a new post will be included in the RUTs list. Selecting Created Threads means that any NEW thread will be included in the RUTs list. So, selecting both means that newly CREATED threads AND newly posted threads will be included. Selecting All Posts will stop duplicated threads from being removed from the list, so that every post, regardless of where it is located, will be listed.
