I know you guys frown upon continuous bumping of threads, but if you could at least remove this user's posting privileges it would be greatly appreciated. Since no mods can delete anything, he is convinced that his options on what images he can post are infinite and indefinite right now. pulsemusic.proboards.com/index.cgi?action=viewprofile&user=sinfulpastEdit: what dperkins just said ![:P](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/tongue.png)

I'm also an appointed administrator at Pulse (or was, mine was one of the ones that was deleted).
Is it possible for you guys to compare IP addresses of the administrator (pulsemusicboard) and posts made by the "admin" account before last week? Or is that too open to the possibility of not being reliable? What about comparing other information required for signing up for a board if the email address used for signing up can't be recovered?

Apologies for the delay, but as i'm sure you can appreciate, we have to take security seriously, and can't simply give the forum to someone claiming to be the admin.
We have done our research and are happy that the person posting here as pulsemusic is indeed the admin, and if that person could send me a PM here containing the original board password along with the link to this topic, i will get them reinstated as the main admin on the forum.

Thanks for your time and effort. I know this has been a very time consuming task for you guys, and completely understand why security is a necessity. I'll notify Matt (pulsemusic) and have him send you a PM as soon as he gets a chance.

Craig, hi there. I worked in the radio industry for 10 years. It’s difficult to find good and active discussion boards that directly apply to this line of work in the way that the pulsemusic board does. I only recently stumbled upon the forum that is being discussed in this year-old thread. When I found it I was eager to participate in the discussions there but I seem to have a major problem. My account has not been approved yet. I have been constantly checking my email for the approval notice so I can begin to participate in the discussions there. This is preventing me as a new user from posting or replying to anything on that board. This thread sounds legitimate to me. I have to ask you Craig: If you will not at least grant the admins any powers can you at least go and take a look at that boards member list and see if anyone who has registered in the past 12 months have been able to post anything at all? If possible can you at least approve the new members who have joined so that people like me can participate in that board? Why should we be cut off from participating because of this obvious mess that we had nothing to do with? Here is the message I get “Account Pending Approval Currently your account is waiting for approval from a staff member. Once an administrator has approved your account you will get access to this forum."

Only the main admin of that board or their staff with the power of approval, can do so.
