Forum URL: benz147.proboards55.comIs there a way of listing say the last 10 most recent posts in a seperate box to the left or right side of forum page. Then being able to click on which ever post you want to then view it. I do realise there is view the most recent posts area. Example below without the box. Thread title: Going away Last Post By: member name Forum Category: General Discussion Posted: Yesterday at: 11:51pm Thread title: Back tomorrow Last Post By: member name Forum Category: Tournaments Posted: Yesterday at: 10:15pm As I say for the last 10 posts. Thankyou once again in advance.. Anthony..

As this would call information from another page without actually displaying the page (thus the Google ads would not be displayed) it would be against the Terms of Service.

You can provide a link to the page that lists the most recent posts.
ie: (http://XXXXX.proboardsXX.com/index.cgi?action=recent)
But you cannot have any info from that post displayed on the main page.

If it were a box on the side of the forum (which I'm assuming he means) surely it would not go against the TOS because the ads would still be displayed? Since the box would still be on the forum page.

I have seen codes posted for side boxes on this forum, they were from people that seem to be well known, so I'm assuming that there is nothing against the TOS. Just look in the codes area of this forum for what you want you'll probably find it there.

Thankyou thats exactly what i mean, it's more about the ability to list say the 10 most recent post as i described in my first post, ( not so much the box, that's more a frame) so that a member can quickly look to see what thread or category interests them, then click on to read the post and the thread if they wish as well. I have seen this a several forums. Again thanks for all the help

The boxes are fine. You just cannot pull information from another proboard page.

The way I understand it is, I am not pulling information from another proboard page, it is a list that shows on my forum page and the information into that list is coming from my proboards forum page............so everything is on or from the one page.

The info that you want to place on the page is actually being called from a seperate page (where it is posted)
It would require a code that would cause a "hit" on the post page without actually displaying that page.
The TOS states that the Google Ads must be displayed with every "hit".
