Various additions are appearing in our boards and I've noticed this meta code above.
I see it applies to all pages.
Correct me if I'm wrong but this means it will force the new loading of all images and codes for every section of the board.
A site that is heavily image orientated will suffer and any users still on 56k modems will be best to set their browsers to not show images.

Can you allay my fears please ?

Edit, is this only for legacy browsers ?

That has been there for as long as i've been here It will check for a new version of the image, if there isn't one, it will load from cache. You should notice that when loading a board for a first time, the images takes longer to load the first time ... so it doesn't always 'force' it to reload the image.
