Splitting and merging threads

Hi!

I am very glad that we are now able to split and merge threads. However, I have noticed that when I re-name the new thread, the new name only appears on the outside of the thread. Once you open the thread up, all the individual posts still have the title of the thread it originated from.

Is there a code that will make all the individual posts match the title I gave the new thread?

There isn't a code that could do that, sorry.

Ok, thanks, Craig. I guess the thing to do then, is to split the threads as soon as possible so you won't have dozens of posts to edit.

I'm assuming though, that any posts added AFTER the merge or split will indeed have the new title on it, is that correct? I guess I could go ahead and add some posts to check for myself, but figured, I might as well ask since I'm here.

Any new posts made after the the split should show the new thread title
