For a week now I have had trouble accessing Proboards Forums with the Tor Browser, it keeps showing up with; Unable to connect Firefox can't establish a connection to the server at gardenworld.proboards.com. The site could be temporarily unavailable or too busy. Try again in a few moments. If you are unable to load any pages, check your computer's network connection. If your computer or network is protected by a firewall or proxy, make sure that Firefox is permitted to access the Web. and I can't figure out why. I checked here then and saw people in Germany were having problems, and thought it was related to that. When I went back yesterday I still got the same results. I don't like using forums without it because I'm worried about random strangers being able to locate me, like stalkers. I have been using web-based proxies, but they are much slower, some don't seem to work on the forums, and they have too many pop-ups. Can you tell me if I did something to the settings, or is it on your side? Thanks in advance.

I could swear I saw someone else post the same problem within the last week or so. I'll have to search, but I seem to recall that PB had blocked Tor for now. Don't quote me on that just yet though.

Due to extensive abuse we had to block Tor from accessing ProBoards.
As a side note though, you do not need to worry about things such as people locating you. Your IP address does not actually reveal your location, just who your Internet provider is. in the event your ISP is in the same city as you, then it will happen to say your city but that is effectively just a coincidence. The whole location via the Internet thin is just a myth perpetrated by the movies.
