This ended up not being about how good a job Obama had done, but how bad a candidate the Republicans picked to represent them. Republicans should take an important lesson away from this.

if Romney did win I was wondering how badly the Latter-day Saints would of tried to get involved with his Presidency.

So it wouldn't surprise me if he did run again. When is the last time that happened? I mean the nominee from either of the 2? Because I have heard enough Ralph Nader jokes until I had to google him to find out his story And to continue this if it happened when is the last time that candidate won I saw some statistics (i love those) and from what I have seen the republicans are kinda screwed in the future: their base is basically dying and the democratic base is getting bigger and bigger

I don't know if he'd be a good president, but as a public and consumer advocate he's done more for America than just about anybody else. It's a shame he never put that out there and the media ignored it when he tried to run for office.

The big "electoral vote states" like Illinois, New York and California, which tolerate voter fraud, let illegal aliens vote, etc. should have their electoral votes reduced!
A voter ID for US citizens only should be mandatory in the future! Did you post, delete and re-posted this a couple of times? Yes I did Sossity! I made a punctation error and deleted and reposted everything without the error! I hate those "modified by ... sigs" that appear if errors are corrected without deleting and reposting. We had that disactivated on our forum!

This woman tells how acorn worked and committed massive voter registration fraud to help get Obama elected in 2008.

www.factcheck.org/elections-2008/the_whoppers_of_2008_--_the_sequel.htmlACORN seems like it had a lot of internal problems. Nobody really doubts that. Their real crime was inflating how many registrations they obtained as an entity that received public money to aid in registering new/lapsed voters. It's a monumental leap to think that it had any effect on actual voting. As FactCheck.org says, lazy/bad employees making up fake registrations doesn't mean any difference at the actual ballot. The republicans, on the other hand, have consistently had the agenda to suppress voter turnout among groups that don't favor them, particularly minorities and young voters. They consistently moved to reduce early voting, and to require state ID to scare away various groups. This wasn't some rogue autonomous organization. These efforts were led by governors, mayors, major GOP players, etc. Too bad for them, their tactics didn't work.

^^ This seriously.. I've seen some pretty bad elections in my days, but this one I think had to had been the worst all together with the mud slinging going around. I didn't vote for Obama either, but I'd rather see Obama in again than Mittens mr tax evasion/with his buddy washing already clean dishes in there. I was pretty worried what would have happened had Romney got elected. This whole country would have been sent to hell in a hand basket. I hope Romney reconsiders ever even running again. Scares me to death to think what would have happened had he been elected. He actually said not long ago he would not run anymore if he lost this election. But we all should know Romney and his flip-flopping ways. So it wouldn't surprise me if he did run again. I guess I missed it then in between all the garbage that was going out. Don't get me wrong, if a person earns a vote, I'll give it. I wasn't happy with either party. I voted the rest of the ticket that went to who I am aligned with. I've been so tired of seeing friendships ruined over political stuff this year. Things being said that wouldn't normally, etc. What got me was when they showed that little girl that was crying and angry over all the stuff being said back and forth. I can say I feel her place, hopefully now our lives will get back to the norm and I can watch tv again without being treated for ptsd. lol

All of it was so hateful. I'm glad it's over with. I was sick of seeing commercials where each ad was bashing the other. I'm not a fan of Romney, but the bashing was getting old. Yeah I could tell some people were getting annoyed on facebook with all the political stuff being posted. Oh yeah that little 4 year old or how ever old she was. I started to feel the same way she was with all them ads on tv. Glad it's over though.

I agree 100% Next four years they need a real Republican candidate not a fake republican that supports too many democratic things that make neither side like him

As is most of the rest of the world For anyone who hasn't seen Donald Trump's twitter they should go check it out, it is rather amusing. Especially since he seems to think the Republicans won the popular vote when they are now behind in it. Apparently Trump deleted some of the posts he made. Screenshots can be found here.

I agree 100% Next four years they need a real Republican candidate not a fake republican that supports too many democratic things that make neither side like him That's the problem though, the country clearly isn't favoring republican ideals anymore. Between Obama getting reelected, states voting to allow gay marriage, and the states that legalized marijuana on the state level, the GOP has some issues it has work out. I really don't see a far right candidate working out at this point (and vice versa with a far left), it just isolates way too many people. All things considered, Obama and Romney were both pretty moderate.
