Hi,
I have had a message for the past hour telling me that I'm 1st in the queue for an upgrade. Will this be updated and started automatically as at the moment there's not much going on and like I said it has been displaying that message for around a hour now?
Any help?
Thanks, Sam

The converter is a complicated tool. At this point we are still making tweaks to constantly improve it. Because of this, our sysadmin has the converter sit and wait for his input whenever there is an issue, so he can investigate and address the cause. The update will begin automatically when it becomes available.

Do we know how long as I want to make changes straight away as soon as the upgrade is complete thats all. Would have thought given it is now public and everyone can upgrade the forums from today that these problems would have been sorted and ironed out by now. Clearly not given I have been 1st in the queue for nearly a hour and half now.

Hi Sam, ProBoards v5 is still currently in Open Beta Phase 2. Upgrade to v5 is completely optional at this point, and is targeted at people who want to get ahead on v5.

Thanks for your help Michael and sorry if I come across a bit to the point, just a bit peed off that Ive had the forum in Maintanance Mode and created messages for all members saying the upgrade should be complete for tonight. Doesn't look like that will now be possible. So what is the actual problem, is it that the converter has a bug/is broken?

Hi Sam, Our sysadmin is working on the converter now. It should be back up shortly. Edit: I totally understand your frustration. Thanks for your patience while we work this out.
