Ok I just did the upgrade. The first thing I did was go into the global header to reset my banner. The banner won't show only the HTML. Now I try to delete the img tag from the header and I get this error. Now I'm stuck with the html img code on the front page. Any help would be great. |Thanks DIY Molds

Hi As per admin advice, given regarding this error: It could be that you're accessing the same account from separate browser windows as that would produce the forgery error. Can you give it another try, ensuring you've only got one browser window open and logged into the account? You can also try restarting your computer and or try another browser for the time being. If the issue still persist after trying all the above... an admin will check things out for you. This will probably be when the office opens. Office hours are: 9-5, Pacific standard time.

Went to messages and had the same error when trying to delete. Logged out and then back in. Was able to delete messages. Looks like I will be seeing this error a lot in the future. Thanks for the help. I'm sure I'll b back :-)

Hi gunzmcgraw, Just wanted to check, are you still encountering the issue today? If so, does it happen when you only have one window and tab opened up? It is possible for that error to display when you have multiple windows open while logged into one account. Just curious if that may be the case here or not

Hi ya
I have been busy building my site. A lot of hours in the past few days. With all of this time thus far I have only had one window open and logged into one account. I still get this token error randomly. For example I go to move bulk threads and I get it. I click "move again" same error. Third time it goes. It seems to be a pattern of 3's a lot. Sometimes more.. Sometimes I log out and back in it works. Sometimes I shut EI down and run a ipconfig /flushdns.bat
It is frustrating considering v4 just did what it was told. No fuss, no drama.

Hey gunzmcgraw - it's already been suggested in this thread so I can't be sure that you haven't already tried to, but have you been able to replicate the forgery error on any other browsers? Determining whether or not this is an Internet Explorer exclusive issue for you will go a long way towards helping us figure out if this is a bug that needs dev attention.

Hello Well I just spent the last 10 mins doing what I do in the admin area on my forum with the google chrome browser and did not have one token error. Wow! Never had that before. Looks like a EI issue? Thanks

I understand the aversion to new browsers when you've been using another one for so long. I can't quite remember how Google got me to switch from Firefox to Chrome back in the day, but as I recall it was a very emotional time for me... But I digress, let me know what you get!

Dumped everything I could. From history to Active X to Cookies. Shutdown. Ran ip/dns flush bat. Start up right to admin login. Clicked on structures. Clicked on new category button .. Bam.. token / forgey error like the image I posted at beginning of this thread. No worries, I'll edit in chrome & browse in IE
