Linking , open link in same tab/window

How do you link to something without the link automatically opening itself in a new tab/window? In v4 if you used the ["link"] tag it opened that link in the same window, whereas the ["url"] tagged forced the link to open in a new window.

I am creating a table of contents and would like to link to different sections (posts) within the thread, but it becomes more of a nuisance than an aid when the link opens in a new window opposed to just taking you to the linked content. Otherwise it's a waist of time. =/

I think if you just put [url=#sectiontitle]Link[/url], that does the trick.

It didn't work. And the link is still opening in a new tab.

One of my co-workers did note that there isn't an option to format a link to open in the same window, but I just checked our bug tracker and I didn't see anything concerning that particular topic, so I'll ask about this and see what comes up.

As an update, °•.DANI DARKO.•°, we discussed this at the meeting and it was decided that we're going to be adding the functionality of the [link] tag back in, which was the BBCode that opened URLs in the same window. Keep an eye out for this one.

Just a small note: Tim Camara mentioned to me that the target attribute should be working again for the [a] tag, so links that open in the same window/tab should be possible again at the moment.
