must be your internet connection or u can try a virus/spyware Scan that was first thing I tried. Remember if it was a virus or internet connection then all Boards would be freezing. Not just one board

I'm using IE and the forum load's fast for me. It's not a server problem. I believe it's a computer problem. Have all the members who having slow loading times delete there temporary internet files and cookies then restart there computer. I don't see any coding errors on the forum so it's not a coding problem.
Let this thread drop so 1 of the admins will respond and suggest something else that might help.

At what point does it freeze? Craig I'm a staff member of the board in question. cmkxunitedforum.proboards70.com/index.cgiWhat I personally (reports from other members may vary) have noticed since day 1 is; intermittently, after you click on any thread link: 1. You will see the thread URL displayed at the bottom of the IR browser, as is normal. 2. Packets are sent, but the browser hangs waiting for the packets to come back. I can see this in the transmit/receive indicator. The URL just sits there at the bottom of the browser, as the browser is waiting for a response. I would think this is a problem with the Internet path, if it were not for the fact that several people notice this ProBoard has this characteristic, whereas other Proboards do not. After a period of 3-8 seconds, I will get packets back from Proboards and the page will load. Sometimes, many times in fact, this board runs quick. Then, it starts acting up, which frustrates the members like the one that posted this thread. -LOL 3. The members of this board frequent several other Proboards, so they notice the difference. Many of the board members have been posting non-stop on ProBoards for 18 months. It is also possible that members experience a different magnitude of the problem, depending on several variables, of course. But, the common thread is, they say it's slower then the other frequently visited Proboards. Thoughts?

I have not tried that and will let you know how it works.
Right now, the board works fine. Later tonight, I think it will bog down into the stall mode. Not sure why...
