Hi, susym. You'll need to be logged into the main admin account of the forum. Simply click on the Admin button in your menu and click on the link at the top that says Click here to get started! This will direct you to an upgrade page with information regarding the V5 upgrade.

I hate updates...on our Vb board we always lose people after updates..either can't get in...etc..
I haven't updated my proB site...see no reason to.

All forums will be automatically upgraded to V5 at the beginning of 2014. If you think you're going to experience any of these issues, I highly suggest creating a BetaZone copy of your forum beforehand so you can diagnose these problems on your test copy sooner rather than later.

Very good advice, Susym and Twistyman, from Brian Ordonez! Before we upgraded, we started a Betazone site, which we called the Play-forum. All of our members could join, and try anything there. After using the "Play-forum" and fooling around on it, they took to the upgrade like ducks to water. The Play-forum is still there and people can still go on it and try different things, if they wish. Yes, some tom-foolery on Betazone, is the key to a smooth transition! Take advantage, while there is still time. Best of luck to both of you. Everything will go fine for you, I'm sure. Also, I must say - once you get used to V5, you will not want to go back to V4.

Thanks for the help.
I will check into all of this.
I have the present Proboards forum but never had the chance to do the Beta or upgrade for that matter. Actually I had some medical problems and forgot all about it til now.
I'm going there now.

OK, I went to the link at my board and clicked on it to be upgraded and it said I was #1 on the list. LOL Just waiting now to find out what to do next.
EDIT: I just back to my Proboards and hit the refresh button and I guess I'm in. YAY!
Thanks so much for your help and now I have something to do when I can't sleep. Looks like I need to "jazz it up!".

If you're queued (and especially if you're at #1), you should be automatically upgraded very soon.

Yep, it just upgraded and as far as I can see, everything that I had there (wasn't much cause it was new) was saved in the upgrade. Now, to play with it!
Thanks
