Forum URL: theuniofhog.proboards.comso, I'm really frustrated atm, because on my site I have affiliations in the sidebar (static and marquee), but when I add affiliations to the marquee code, two show up next to each other (which is good I want that, the marquee is going to the left), but if I add MORE they show up under the first two! I find this the most ugliest thing ever and just want a big line one affiliate>after>another>like this. Right now I just put them to go up, and put them under each other with <br> but I don't like it and really want them all to go left in that big line plEASE HELP

Is this the marquee going down? And you want it going left? If not which section of your affiliates is this?

yes it's going down now, I want it to go left, but if i put more then two banners in there they'll be underneath each other going left (which I don't want) I could put it on going left for you so you can actually see what I mean?

noortje, marquees are a bit weird in Chrome. Basically what happens is the content inside the marquee goes to the next line based on the width of the container the marquee is in. So if the combined width of all of your affiliates exceeds the width of your sidebar, they'll keep wrapping to the next line until the end.

oh:( and there's nothing I can do to fix that? because I always see other proboards who do have more then can fit in the width of the sidebar? Are they on V4 or V5? V4 works off of a different document type. There is a workaround that should fix it for Chrome. Just place the affiliates inside a div that's 100px wide for every affiliate inside of it. Since you currently have 5 affiliates inside of it, you would just make the width 500px. 5 affiliates x 100px 500px
