I really need help! i am in tears over this!

please help me! a person from my best friends website has accused me of stealing/copying her site. My site was created first. and everything on my site i has asked for the permission to use it. it was all fine with her. This person said i copied the rules and everything but i got them from another site that my bf got hers from too. we changed them a bit but they are still virtually the same. This person has been going round posting on every site she can find telling everyone i am horrible and that i am a stealer! my site was already without many members but now no one will ever join! i am crying in rl over this, please help me! i have put so much work into this site, i don't want to lose it now.

No one here can make her stop talking on other boards.

If you indeed did not steal anything then I recommend just ignoring her.

People like that usually find out the hard way that all of their talk does nothing but make them look dumb.

yes but i'm just really upset, is there anything you can dso to ask her to stop? my site is now going to the dogs! i am really upset, i can bearly see the keyboard i'm crying so hard.

there is nothing we can do here at support really,as long as terms of service are NOT violated then is nothing to worry about as xiØn said people like that get it in the end,go ahead and ignore this person and enjoy your forum,we can't go to her house and tell her to stop talking bad about others.

thankyou for your support, i now know who was doing this. it was my best friend, she did it because she was too afraid to ask me to change it.

for what its worth hun theres thousands of possible combo's of ways for a board to look, click some of the folks here at support siggys or to get cool idea's then transform the idea's you like into a board all your own,thats half the fun of having a proboard theres sooo many endless possibilities.
