Boards Not Showing (solved)

Hey There!

I have a question about a pre made skin, while in Internet Explorer my boards don't all show up, but when I go on to my IPad it shows fine.
Is there a way to fix this?

I actually already contacted them and they sent me this way.

She wasn't sure why it would do that and said to ask someone more well versed in browser compatibility.

Is it just internet explorer on your computer that they don't show up in? Tried another browser?

I tried Safari and it worked like it was suppose too.

So it looks like it is just as issue in IE? Those particular boards do show up in my IE. Could it be an addon installed in your IE causing a conflict? Could you try disabling them.

I disabled every addon. None of them solved the problem.

Hi lil miss kay,

I see the issue you're speaking about when using Internet Explorer 8, so it may be an issue with the older IE versions. Unfortunately I'm not sure what you could change specifically to provide better compatibility with the browser, but maybe Brian or David Clark may have some ideas when they're back in the office tomorrow

The issue is IE-specific, but it's due to some improperly set width attributes on each of the table cells that holds the boards.

It should be a simple fix though. Go to Themes > Layout Templates > Board > Board List and change line 14 from this:

<td width="100%" id="$[board.content_id]" class="$[board.content_class] boardtd" valign="top">

To this:

<td width="50%" id="$[board.content_id]" class="$[board.content_class] boardtd" valign="top">
