Forum URL: weightlosssurgery.proboards.comWe are having problems with our fonts. The default font for messages and responses seems to be courier, hard to read and I tried to change it to arial and it nothing happens. The Recent Posts button at the bottom of the board also does not work. Screen shot attached. Thank you for your help!

That looks like Arial to me:
This is what Arial looks like, and bold.

If you go to: Admin > Themes> Advanced Styles & CSS> Visual Editor And go down to the "Editor" and select "BBCode Editor" or "Visual Editor" and you can change the font family there. Your attachment picture is of the legend on/off icons. They aren't clickable. But below that I see Recent Posts and it works fine for me. Am I misunderstanding?

How do I remove that unclickable legend? It wasn't on my V4 theme.
People are missing new posts/topics buttons of some sort: Is there a way that I'm missing to just view the new posts like before?~~brooklyngirl My exact question~~CVHarris I too used the "New Posts" button almost exclusively~~whit I liked the "New Posts" button. Is that gone for good?~~xr7conv Is there no longer a 'new topics' option? I liked that one.~~msbatt I'm missing that also. I used it every time I came to the website to find all the new stuff from the entire site. Any hope if bringing it back?~~Larra Yeah, I need the "New Topics" button also. That's the main one I use.~~sheanie What amazes me is all these people clamoring for a function I never used. My go to was the most recent posts, which I had increased to 20, in the Information Center. Can I get "New Posts" and a "New Topics" buttons?(perhaps too much info posted here. I have put in bold the basic questions) Thank you for all your help! Kelly Read more: weightlosssurgery.proboards.com/thread/8305/post-problems#ixzz2pRajuoPL

How about putting the "Recent Posts" and "Recent Threads" in the Info Center in bold?

Legend is gone. YAY! Two problems with the buttons: 1. Size Can we make all of them slightly smaller, just enough to fit on one line under the banner. See screenshot of how they look now. 2. They don't work. Clicking on them just refreshes the home page

Hey goodkel. 1. You can add this to your style sheet to make the text a bit smaller. It should bring all the buttons on to one line. #navigation-menu > ul li a { font: 13px "Trebuchet MS",Verdana,Arial; }
2. In Admin > Settings > Forum Settings > Navigation tab, you don't have any destination URLs set for those buttons. Add " /threads/recent" and " /posts/recent" to the "URL" fields respectively.

Navigation works! Links are active! I made the mistake of putting the full url in there and that's why it didn't take. Not so lucky with the size issue. Still the same. Attached is a screen print of the Style Sheet:

My apologies goodkel - I forgot to mention that this code should go at the bottom of your style sheet instead of the top. In general, when you're given CSS, you'll want to stick it towards the bottom to avoid the chance that another declaration might override it.

In general, when you're given CSS, you'll want to stick it towards the bottom to avoid the change that another declaration might override it. It worked! Of course. Are you kidding me? Apologizing for assuming I had a lick of common sense? I have been so stressed about putting everything into a recognizable order for my members and fielding their complaints, I haven't relaxed my mind enough to just think. I always used to place new code at the bottom. I should have known to do that here. My fault, really, not yours. Thank you SO very much for all of your kind and patient support! Kelly
