Forum URL: weightlosssurgery.proboards.comI am going to try out my own ads. I am already on recurring ad free. Where do I place my ad code in the html to place a banner at the top of the board just where Proboards' banner usually is? To save us all some time, just in case, where would I place the code if I wanted it at the very bottom of the forum? Thank you for your help! Kelly

Kelly I could be wrong but i think you need to go to Admin, Structure, then headers and footers. If you want it on every page then you would use global, if just on the main page then use main. Using the footer would place it at the bottom.

Hi Just confirming that blc is correct. From the last sentence of this post: "From there select the Global Header & Footer option then paste in the provided code into the top box for the global header or the bottom box for the global footer, depending on whether you would like the ads at the top or bottom of the forum"

Great! Nice how easy that is. I get so nervous adding code to the Forum Wrapper. I imagine that I'm going to accidentally delete one little > and make the whole thing come crashing down. Off I go to see if I can get the board to pay for the Motrin I wouldn't need if I wasn't the admin... Thank you so much for your help! Kelly

Thought you were getting rid of me? It is left oriented. What do I need to add to the code to center it? It is also between the drop down board menu and the board. Can I place it above that? Thanks! Kelly

Try surrounding the code with this:

YAY! Yes it is centered now.
It still wedged between the drop down menu and the board. But, if that is too difficult to fix, I can live with it or move to the footer.

Nothing a little padding can't fix.

That made more room around it, but the menu is still on top of it.

The global header will show between the menu and the main forum content. You can't place precisely using the global header. It would be best to use the layout templates for that.
Where did you want it placed exactly?

I just thought that the drop down menu should be in direct proximity with the board.
With the added space, though, it really isn't a problem.
Thanks for your help!
