Forum URL: weightlosssurgery.proboards.comI have a member who lives in a state where it is legal for medical purposes. She posted a question asking for information about its effect on IBS (irritable bowel syndrome). I provided her with a scientific study and the link to an IBS forum where the issue was being discussed. In no way was the use of an illegal substance promoted or encouraged. But, I want to make sure that this is not in violation of the terms of service agreement. If it is, I will take it down. This is the thread: weightlosssurgery.proboards.com/thread/8816/cannabis-question-diarrhea-blowing-smokeThanks for letting me know! Kelly

As long as the discussion is for medical purposes and is in no way promoting the illegal consumption of drugs this is not a violation of the TOS. As far as I can see there is no actual discussion of the taking of the drug, just its effects.
Thanks for checking though!

Just wanted to say this made me respect Proboards even more for recognizing it as medicine and siding with the state laws instead of the ancient, outdated, unfounded, unfair, unscientific, and unpopular federal bullcrap law stating "no medical uses" that is there because of big pharma paying off the politicians.
