Resrict access of a single member

Is there any way to restrict the access of a single member to categories/boards with out making a new member group and then editing the category to keep that person from viewing?

Not through controls on the admin panel.

I recommend starting a thread on the Code Requests board, as I am sure a coder will be able to write a code which will hide certain boards from certain members.

That is the best that can be done though.

if you want to restrict their access to the entire board suspend their account by going to their modify profile page.
