serious problem caused by footer modifications

i was updating my forum today when i decided to reorganize some of the information in the global headers and footers
i had a pay pal donate button in my global footer but i moved it to the header instead

but ever since i did that when ever i press a button on the forum like, post message,preview,spell check,reset,continue, or apply

i get a pop up saying cannot connect to pay-pal .com

and it wont let me edit my headers and footers when i go to remove this code i get the same

cannot connect to pay-pal .com message when i click on the continue button after selecting global headers and footers to modify

can anybody help?

Well it looked to me like you had two incomplete codes. Just make sure before you save that each code you enter is complete. Also, so opu don't insert one code into another, it may be worth using code indicators, these will show on the headers page, but not on the forum. so like:

code 1 is here
