ad.afy11.net
This thing is slowing forums pretty badly, and taking an age to load, that the circles are spinning constantly.
Always in the bottom left corner. Earlier that bar was also flashing.
Any chance of checking please?

Hi,
Is this still a persistent issue? What forum did you experience this on?

Hi, Is this still a persistent issue? What forum did you experience this on? I get it on my own. It is ever present and slowing my site down considerably. The above screen shot is from the admin panel. It often takes a long time for a page to refresh and show the boxes. It's when I move on the forum that it appears, or after a reload: I could have a virus I guess, but it's worth checking with you guys.

If you are not getting the same problem on this forum, and other forums, could you link to the forum you are experiencing it on.

While working in the admin panel, I got another pop up. It then tried to download an exe which my A/V blocked. That's the 2nd time I've had a pop up in as many days, and not normal. Michael

While I was in Photoshop, my admin panel then changed to this: Any ideas please?

I did some google searches and it could be a cookie or malware. I don't know if I'm allowed to post links of what I found, but google afy11.net remove and go through the steps.

I only ever see it when I'm logged in - nowhere else, and have run scans with Malwarebytes, Superantispyware, AdAware, Exterminate-it, and Avast, and all show clean.
I think I 'might' have something, as I see a lot of Russian dating adverts on places like Ebay of all places, but if I have something it must be buried very deep to escape those programmes, as well as my own registry knowledge.
Unusual I only get to see ad-afy11 on my site though.

I very much doubted that this could be coming from us but I went in through a UK proxy to verify that it wasn't an ad-network doing something weird in your area. After a few minutes of testing I'm not seeing anything like that though. After googling around a bit more it would appear you do have some sort of malware or bad cookie. Most likely it isn't malicious though (which is why it wasn't cleaned up by an anti-malware program).

Nope, it's definitely something on my pc. Not a single advert loading issue on my other pc. I'll figure something out, and appreciate the response.

Just an update to help others. I'm 99% sure I found the culprit, but it's now a decision as to whether I keep it or not, as the culprit appears to be Acestream player, and it's AS Magic player add on, which is a bit of a blow for football fans, as it is the highest quality football match streamer on the net. So, if I want to watch 'all' the matches for free, I have to put up with some inconvenience............... right? You need to remove the add-on from each browser, and voila, no more big breasted Russian chicks wanting to date me. (maybe I should reinstall it) Anyway, hope it helps somebody else.
