Ban a member from posting only?

Hi guys,

I have a strange sort of situation at the moment...one of my members has insisted that he be banned from posting for a little while, because he can't help but getting carried away in posts...sort of a "help me save myself" plea.
Yeah, dramatic, I know.

But is it possible? Can I ban 1 member from posting on all boards, but still leave the functionality like modifying profile and receiving / sending PMs?

Sorry once a member is banned they are banned and can not do anything on the forum till there ban is lifted.

Thanks anyway. I was about to come ask someone to remove this request, the silly guy's gone and deleted his membership!
