one , member can only be in one group , and one staff postion. if you want that person to be in both, you just create a new group with group settings of both groups you want and name the group for example
"Administrator/Global Mod"

What you could do, is assign the member to the "co-admin" member group. And then, give them a custom title of something like: Slytherin Prefect[br][i mg]http://s3.images.proboards.com/stargreen.gif[/img][i mg]http://s3.images.proboards.com/stargreen.gif[/img][im g]http://s3.images.proboards.com/stargreen.gif[/img][im g]http://s3.images.proboards.com/stargreen.gif[/img] Which should give the impression of them being in both groups

I have had this situation before...what I did was, to ask the member to register a second account...now they have "username1" with one staff postition, and "username2" with a second staff postion...they have to log out and re-log in each time they want to use their second account, but this way one account can only be used for certain staff jobs, while the other account can only be used for differant staff jobs...it works for us fine.
