Clicking 'Save Changes' When Editing Posts Does Nothing

Title says it all, but here's some additional info.

It shows the link cursor, so the browser recognises it's clickable. It also seems to be an issue with Preview Mode, as I switched to BBCode just to try and fix it, it seemed to do the job.

I'm using the latest Chrome on Windows 7, my cache and cookies are clear. Also, another member is having issues as well, here's what they are saying: rpg-time.proboards.com/thread/50/nathan-mars-wip

I tested this myself and was unable to duplicate the issue (also using Chrome and Windows 7). As you can see I was able to successfully remove the quote tags from your last post in that thread.

Can you list the exact steps you're taking?

I clicked edit, edited the post and saved the changes. It did nothing, it did not try to load a page, it didn't change anything, it just stayed on the same page, but like I said hovering over the button changed it to the link cursor. I then switched to BBCode mode, and saved from there, and it saved properly.

Have you installed any plugins recently that may have coincided with the issue? I can duplicate the issue with plugins on, but when I turn them off I'm able to edit posts properly again.

Hmm. I tried disabling all plugins and re-enabling them all one-by-one, but the problem didn't reappear. So I created a non-staff account, and tried editing with that. That seemed to do it. So I guess some plugin is making it so non-staff have issues with editing? *sigh* I guess I've got to do it again.

When I first posted and was unable to duplicate it I was doing so from the admin account, so that seems to be the case.

Found the faulty plugin. It was Edit Tracking. I really like that though, as most forum softwares track editing like that. Would it be possible to add something like that in the future? Thanks for helping me though

We don't have any plans to add anything like that at this time.

Hopefully Wormo can identify the problem and come up with a solution based on the information you gave him.
