posting TITLE in posts create a false image (BUG).

Whenever our members write the word: TITLE in all CAPS, it gets posted as a blank image (missing).  (See examples and screenshot below)

for examples:

TITLE.DAT
TITLE
TITLE.png

When we click on BBCODE we then see that those words get converted to:

[img style="max-width:100%;" src=""].DAT
[img src="" style="max-width:100%;"]
[img style="max-width:100%;" src=""].png

And they look like this in our posts.


Is there a way to fix that?

If go ADMIN > SETTINGS and disable - Enable Automatic Embedding - Temporary

It will/should help stop that

But doesn't that affect URLs in general when they are posted? Please advise?

Just tested that workaround, it doesn't fix it. Tried posting TITLE in a new post and it still tries to convert it to a IMG URL.

Do you have custom smilies? Could that be the code for one of them? Or, what about something in the censored words list?

Those are the two places I first looked to see if that was causing it. But no, we don't have any censor words added to our settings, nor have added any extra smileys that would have that whole word or partially.

It's being caused by the 'Smilie Dropdown' plugin you have installed. You can ask the author for help in this thread: support.proboards.com/thread/431128/smilie-dropdown-option-view-all.

Ah! plugin disabled, no longer produces that bug. Thanks!

Now I gotta go fix a few posts that had that issue.
