Forum URL: weightlosssurgery.proboards.comFebruary 1, 2014 I received a DMCA take down notice from Proboards. After testimony from the holder of the copyright that I did indeed have the right to post her content, the content was eventually replaced. (The person who filed the DMCA take down notice perjuring herself was an ex member who was bitter for being banned for TOS violations. It was just harassment.) Now the owner is selling her business including all copyrights to her data. My question is, once the sale is finalized (supposed to be July), do I still hold the right to post that content? Or, if you get a DMCA notice from the new owner, will you take it down again? I don't want to be surprised again. Thank you!

Hi,
We cannot provide any sort of legal advice to you whatsoever, so I'll be locking this thread as soon as I post this reply.
I can tell you that if we receive a valid DMCA for content on one of our forums, we will either remove it, or have the admin of the forum remove it as required by law.
