Forum URL: dalbuddies.proboards77.comI apologize if this is in the wrong place. I looked first at coding section and wasn't sure. I looked at FAQ here and couldn't find this answer. I have several members that are older and are complaining about the font size that is used. I know how to tell them to change the size for the post but I would like to change the font size for the message as they are typing it in. Is there a way to reset my default font size for this? I look on the admin modify and see color and font style...but not size. Does the font size get put in with the style? what am I missing?

Adding the following to your Global Headers/Footers should do the trick for ya: <style type="text/css"> <!-- * {font-size: 25px;} --> </style> Of course, the number highlighted in red is the number that you need to adjust to adjust your font size. A greater number will enlarge the font size, and vice versa.

Thanks!!! I will give that a try. My older non computer saavy members will thank you! You're welcome, and your older members are welcome, too. If you really wanted to, you could actually create a menu box in your headers to allow your members to toggle between font sizes on your forum. If you're interested in doing that, I'm going to point you over to the Code Requests board of ProBoards Support. I would really have to rack my brain to get that code out to you, but I'm sure someone over there can do it with one hand tied behind their back. Also, you may want to kindly remind your members that they should be able to adjust font size in their browser (for all sites) by clicking "View" in their toolbar, and then "Text Size". Again, you're welcome, and never hesitate to ask if you need further assistance. Have a great day.

I will pass that info about the 'view' in the toolbar, but I know that if I say that, they will be asking me what is a toolbar. LOL. Many of them are not sure how to post pics and send them to me to post for them. Even with detailed instructions they don't get it. Anyway, thanks again.
Also, can this thread be marked with a "F" or whatever it needs so its not taking up space?
