We're discussing the option of changing our forums custom domain so that it reflects our sister site, TechViews. That being said, we want to pretty much merge the sister site with the main site under one name, TechViews and one domain. I'd like to know if it would be possible to set up the forum URL as sitename.com/forum as opposed to forum.sitename.com and then our main domain would be sitename.comThe first is technically a sub-directory, while the second is a sub-domain. I know how to set it up for a sub-domain, but when I tried to do a sub-directory before I failed horribly as I did it on my own without asking and ended up changing it because it was too confusing to work out on my own. This is not a definite plan as of yet. I'm merely curious if its possible to set it up this way. If so, please provide me with how to do it correctly as I want to make sure we do it right the first time if we choose to do it. Thanks, Amanda

Morning Amanda The directory option is not usually an option because of the way it works. You can assign an IP to a domain, and a sub-domain, but not ordinarily a directory. So the domain and the directory would have to be on the same IP. I will mark this for the reds to reply

What you're looking to do here sounds just like InSite Forwarding which is one of our Forums.net features. Unfortunately this wouldn't be available on ProBoards. Sorry!
