I have had this problem on promoforum.net and many other projects when editing custom pages. If you go to edit content it won't let you do it by line in the editor for HTML box areas. You have to CTL plus A and cut it out, edit it in a text editor then past it back. If you have a main box with HTML then add additional boxes, you have to delete the initial one before trying to edit the other sub ones and then still have to do as above. This is widget HTML boxes I have the issue with in Chrome. Granted it also happens in Firefox

Hi, Teg. Which custom page on your forum are you experiencing the issue on? I'm unable to duplicate this on my own forum.

Not Amanda But this is what happens to me. I don't need help, just an fyi When placing cursor anywhere, it won't land on 1 line, it extends through them all. Backspacing deletes the entire line instead of 1 row. It hasn't always done that on this particular code

It happens on any custom page where add an HTML box the screen shot above is identical to what happens. If I click at the end of box to add more it inserts curser above and starts adding my text on a random line

Okay, I think I've discovered the underlying cause of the issue. I didn't realize what the line was in your screenshot until I duplicated the issue and saw it blinking. The editor is still wrapping the line even with line wrapping off, but it's behaving as if line wrapping is off and still interprets the lines that the line number encompasses as a single line and resizes the typing caret to ridiculous proportions depending on the size of your line. I've created a task for this to be fixed. In the meantime you can get it back to normal by clicking on the icon on the top right to enable line wrapping. This will change the icon to indicating that line wrapping is now enabled.
