Forum URL: hogexrpg.forums.netSo, if I disable a user's account, are they able to send and receive Private Messages from the administrator?

Hi, Teg. If you completely disable an account it's equivalent to banning the account by username. They won't be able to access the forum at all.

I don't want them to be able to post at all (or only in support area) or send messages to anyone aside from an administrator.

Posting permissions are determined by your board permissions, so if you wouldn't like them to be able to post you'd need to assign them to a member group that's forbidden to post anywhere as determined by your board settings.
You can disable their ability to create new PM conversations with users in the Staff Options tab of their Edit Profile page.

If you've allowed it in Settings > Forum Settings, then yes.

If you've allowed it in Settings > Forum Settings, then yes. Another quick question. If I create a group for users who can't post, I have over 200 forums and sub-forums that that would have to apply to. Is there a way to add that group to the "Except" area of the boards settings to more than one forum at a time with overriding ALL settings. There are many forums with different settings, but if all boards have the "EXCEPT" added for that one group, i need to be able to do that in a more simple way than editing one board at a time. I'm using Chrome on a Macbook.

This would have to be done manually. Sorry.

Now that this has turned more into something to make Brian laugh, I appreciate all the help with our questions Brian. They way it has to be done is just TOO much extra work. That said, for now, we'll just email members that need attention brought to their accounts. If they don't comply or respond, then we'll disable them. Then, with the email, they'll have a way to connect with a member of the team to fix any issue and re-enable their account. Seems a lot easier than manually modifying 200 + forums' board settings and permissions.
