Can you link to a page containing a link that produces this issue? To my knowledge only two things cause this:
- An ad blocker blocking VigLink's script from running, as that's the only way the links get changed to redirect.viglink.com instead of the proper api.viglink.com to begin with - An antivirus/firewall program which would prevent you from connecting to redirect.viglink.com
The links should definitely be working, as any redirect.viglink.com links I navigate to are still functioning correctly and not producing the error you mentioned.
To provide a visual example, here's a video of me clicking one of the aforementioned links just a moment ago and being properly directed to the page through the VigLink URL without issue.
If you copy and paste the link from my post straight to your address bar you'll navigate to it directly rather than clicking on it and going through VigLink. Alternatively you can click and drag it and you'll achieve the same result.
I should also note that the link you just posted also works for me without issue.

I'm a bit puzzled by this as neither of these things I would have thought would be affecting a number of our members at the same time, nor would it affect both my laptop and mobile use simultaneously.
Another thing I tried yesterday was using other wifi while I was out and about and that had some limited success at opening links...although sometimes it would not work...it certainly helped with image links.
I wasn't able to duplicate this on the post you linked either. The redirect still successfully leads me to the intended page rather than giving me an error.
Are you sure that none of your users meet any of the criteria I specified in the beginning of the thread?

Strange!
Do you know which URL you were being directed to prior to the links opening? It should've been either api.viglink.com or redirect.viglink.com.
