Hi, This issue only appears when an ad-blocker is being used. If you disable your ad-blocker the links will function normally. I just did a quick test to confirm that I did not have any issues with these links.

Michael, thanks for your quick reply, I am not using an ad-blocker, this is only happening on the forum, any thoughts as to what I can do?

Another user who reported a similar issue said their antivirus program updated and ended up blocking the redirect.viglink.com domain, but solved the issue by updating their antivirus definitions again. Do you have anything similar installed that may be affecting your browser in that fashion?

Brian, I do not have an antivirus program, I did try a link on another Pro Board forum with the same results, the link redirected just like on my forum. I have gone online and researched this problem, deleted all cookies, reset my Chrome browser, I used Panda scan and Malwarebytes to check for anything unusual but nothing turned up. This is really annoying, any other suggestions?

Malwarebytes is an antivirus program, and is the same one that caused the previous case of the redirect links not working.
I would recommend checking for updates for Malwarebytes.

Can you try in a different browser, if possible?

I installed Malwarebytes and Panda scan after I noticed this problem, I also turned off my Zone alarm firewall, still redirecting, I tried the command prompt suggestion from the thread you mentioned, here is the result. I did find something interesting but I am not sure what it means, I tried the TOR browser and the links did not redirect?

You said you have tried three browsers so far, Fx, TOR, and one more -- are there any addons that you have in common between firefox and the other browser you were originally using?

I made a mistake, I usually use Chrome but I did try Internet Explorer (not Firefox) with still redirected but Tor did not redirect, I am not sure what that would mean though. As for add ons, nothing on IE and very minimal on Chrome which has had nothing new added recently as far as add ons. Any ideas why Tor would allow the links to work but not IE or Chrome? When I try to go to redirect.viglink.com/ on Chrome I get a message that says "This site can not be reached" redirect.viglink.com refused to connect. When I try it on IE I get "This page can not be displayed" but on TOR I can get through.

By looking at the results you got from pinging redirect.viglink.com as well as using Tor and Tor not blocking you, it looks like that site is being blocked at the network level. Did you recently make any significant changes to your network that coincide with these links not working?

In addition to the above, 127.0.0.1 is your local IP so what seems to be happening is you're being directed to yourself when attempting to visit any path on the redirect.viglink.com domain. Can you navigate to the following path on your PC?
Find a file in that folder named "hosts" and right click it, then select Open with. Choose Notepad from the list.
Once it's open can you copy any lines from it that contain either 127.0.0.1 or localhost into your next post? This should help clarify whether you're being directed to the wrong IP address by either your PC or your network.
