Hi,
I'm occasionally getting redirected to naughty dating ads since Tuesday this week. I've scanned my PC with the latest updates and no spy/ad/malware has been found. I'm not having problems with any other site that I visit. It almost behaves like the incredible annoying Whatsapp virus ads in android. It always happens when I click a link on the board itself. Like opening a message, changing information etc.
I think that there may be an infection in either the proboards servers or maybe a hijacked ad and I wanted to let you guys know. I'm not in the habit of clicking ads btw.
Kind regards,
Nancy

Hi No one else has reported anything, at this time. Have you cleared the cookies and the cache in your browser? It may be a redirecting ad, in which case would you be able to report the ad [ the last one before the redirect ] using the ad reporting tool. ads.proboards.com/ad-report.htmlAnd it will be checked

Yes I have cleared my history. I haven't been able to report the ad because it happens really quickly. When I hit back in the browser it looks like it opened more than a few times in a row. There are no naughty ads visible on the forum itself. I will keep an eye on the ad that's displayed right before redirecting.
Edit: I have saved the ad report page and when it happens again I will file a report.
Thank you

Just so it's clear. You don't need to hit the back button on the browser to report the ad. When you get redirected you can simply open up the ad report page and the most recent listing (assuming you haven't visited any other Proboards forum pages) should be the one that contains the redirect ads responsible.
