Feature Request ~ Threads' Replies Column

Hey guys ~

Happy Saturday. Just four more hours to go!  


I don't know if this is possible, or how difficult it might be. But, you know when you click on the "replies" number in the thread list and every member who posted in that thread appears in a pop-up box with a clickable link to their profile? Is it possible to make the number indicating the number of their replies be clickable, too, and take you to a list of their posts?

Just to clarify, do you mean a list of just their posts in that thread, or a list of all posts like the recent posts link in their profile?

Just in that particular thread, Scott

The number of posts shows next to every member that posted, and if that number was clickable and lead to their posts, that would be helpful.


Many times, in a long thread, I know the person who said something, but I can't easily find the post.


If the posting number was clickable, it would lead to that person's posts in the thread only.

I figured that's what you meant, but just making sure.

I've labeled this a feature request, but am tagging Brian in case this is something that might be accomplished now with a plugin. He's knows the intricacies of the software and to whether this is possible. He'll be back tomorrow.

A plugin could technically do this. There's an AJAX request that runs when opening the Participants dialog that the plugin can listen for, as well as the one that runs for page changes within that dialog.

All that needs to be done is finding the text and replacing it with a link to the thread with this added to the end of the URL:

?filters[]=post_created_by%3Aeq%3A(user ID here)

This would require no keys at all since no data is being stored. All you're doing is modifying what's already available.
