....for the "Wikipedia Sucks!" forum (http://wikipediasucks.boards.net). My real ProBoards name is "Strelnikov", I am one of the Administrators of this board, which is a Wikipedia-criticism forum. We were yanked without any warning around 5PM PST. Yes I have emailed "abuse@proboards." I had to create this other account just to use this support forum because my account was suspended with the board. We kept it clean of spam and it was barely a year old.

If you have emailed abuseteam@proboards.com then i surmise you have seen also that TOS takedowns aren't handled here on the support board as they are a separate department.
Is there a particular reason you have decided to post here?

Slim hope the takedown was a mistake and that the issue would be resolved easily. Also I notice that many people don't get their forums back, it would be nice if you lose your forum to get .pdfs of posts.

Slim hope the takedown was a mistake and that the issue would be resolved easily. The support board tech staff are not privy to the takedown reasons, so even if there is a chance of this then that information would not be obtainable here. It can take up to 48 hours for the abuse dept to respond to inquiries, and they are only available from 9am-5pm pacific, monday - friday (as opposed to daily like the support staff here in the boards). Depending on when you contacted them, if they haven't replied in a reasonable amount of time then I'd send a follow up. If they *have* replied, but unfavourably, then there isn't anything the staff of this department can do. Edit: are you the creator of the forum? (username: admin) If not, they may only disclose information to said person.

No problem, sorry it wasn't a more positive response. My recommendation would be to continue to encourage the creator to contact abuse as it is they who are in contract (so to speak) with ProBoards to abide by the TOS.
