maximum picture size and account size

Do I understand correctly that max picture size is 1 MB and free forum account size is 250 MB? 

If people are posting picture attachments, is there a way to automatically reduce them in size to say 50kb or some other size using the forum so that they do not take so much space up?

Hi

Specifically for the attachments, yes, the free limits are a max file size of 1mb, and a total storage allowance of 200mb. Unfortunately, there is not a way to reduce the file on upload, and this will need to be done before uploading, i'm afraid.

vb1 , please note that a lot of forum members will use a free image hosting site and then just link the image in their post using .   This does not affect the attachments limit.
