My entertainment forum was deleted with the message "In accordance with Section 25(a) of the ProBoards Terms of Service, this forum has been taken offline." on the main page.
This is disconcerting, as I would expect some reason to be cited, while Section 25(a) is the catch-all section.
Could I get any information about why my forum was deleted or if there is a way to appeal the decision?

hopeology , sorry this has occurred. Please contact our Abuse Department: abuseteam@proboards.com They handle forums taken offline and well as appeals. I received an automated form letter referencing the same portion of the TOS, ignoring all other questions, and they haven't replied to subsequent messages. Also, I find it interesting that appeals aren't mentioned anywhere in the TOS or community guidelines, meaning that the website I ran can be taken down for no reason, without any justification being provided, no way to retrieve the related data, and no way to recover any money spent on the site. This is really scaring me, and making me want to warn other potential users away from Proboards. If the abuse department is going to ignore me, is there anything I can do besides count all my content as lost?

Well, i received a reply, advising that my recent payment would be refunded, and offering no further information or an opportunity for appeals, and telling me no data from the site would be restored.
Considering I was cited the catch-all section of the TOS, I still don't know what I did wrong, and there is no appeal process, I guess all I Can do is tell other people to be cautious, and avoid Proboards in the future.

Forums are only deleted in the more extreme circumstances, we obviously have no interest in deleting forums as it hurts us as much as it hurts you. If you made payments recently for the forum, let the abuse department know.

The abuse line is still refusing to give any reason for the deletion besides "Section 25(a)" which is a catch-all which excludes any cause. They aren't giving anything I did to violate the TOS. They just refunded me and told me my site was gone and they explicitly said "There is no formal appeals process."
This wasn't followed by a friendly "But we can talk it over" or anything, and since there is no formal appeals process I have to conclude I am not entitled to an appeal of any kind despite your reassurances.

I didn't offer any reassurances in my post. Your forum was not mistakenly deleted.
