Change the Link Address in the Forum Title + Link Banner Img

Is there a way to change the Link Address in the Forum Title?  (Example change from the forum url to a thread Url [About us])

Can I also link the banner image as well?

Hi, digitalexpress.

If you want to change the link the text in the banner area goes to navigate to Themes > Layout Templates > Forum Wrapper and find this line:

$[forum.title]

Change it to this, substituting the text in green with the link to your thread:

<a id="logo" href="/thread/1/welcome-new-forum">$[forum.name]</a>

Making the entire banner area a link will require a more significant modification but is still doable.

Edit:
I could overlay the the forum title in Photoshop.  That way I could then resize and reposition and reword the title to give more options for being used as a link.

I'll give that more thought.
