Forum URL: evereras.proboards.comHey, me again folks, Just wondering if it's possible to keep headers from showing up after someone clicks on a thread? I like the headers on the main board description pages, but do not like it showing up once someone opens a thread. See attachments. This is fine. In this example, after clicking the thread shown in the prev. photo, I'd rather the "Elder's Keep" header no longer shows up. OR is it possible to give the thread it's own header with a plugin or something? OR is it possible to trick my boards into thinking they're threads so that people can reply to them as opposed to creating new threads? This is intended to be an RPG where characters can move from thread to thread, as though they're places instead of topics. I want to keep my categories but I don't like that when I create a board, it doesn't serve like a thread - basically. Looking to cut out or tweak the middle-man here.

Hi, @alianaliliiharosi. Just wondering if it's possible to keep headers from showing up after someone clicks on a thread? Headers always show so long as you're on a page that exists within that particular board, so the only way to achieve this would be to hide them using CSS or Javascript. As long as the entirety of your headers exist are within a single element this should be pretty easy to accomplish regardless of which method is used. OR is it possible to give the thread it's own header with a plugin or something? This is technically possible, either through the same means mentioned above or by making a plugin add them through the use of Javascript if the thread ID of the page you're currently viewing matches the one you've specified in the plugin. OR is it possible to trick my boards into thinking they're threads so that people can reply to them as opposed to creating new threads? This isn't possible. Boards and threads will always be separate. The best you can do is place the threads in hidden boards and create redirect boards that go directly to those threads. Please note that threads that exist within redirect boards themselves cannot be accessed by users.

Alrighty thanks.
I'll post a plugin request and see if anyone bites - if not, I'll look into the first idea with regards to hiding them.
Going to try the plugin request first since I'm rubbish at code.
Thanks for clearing this up!
