"Back to Top" Feature Not Working

Hi. The Back to Top feature isn't working. I can't remember if this is a plugin or not, but it's in the lower right corner of each post box on my site. Here's a screen shot of the coding. Thank you.

Hi, kpatch.

To my knowledge that method hasn't worked in a long time in Firefox. I can't speak for other browsers, but that one in particular prevented the scroll() function from working inside onclick attributes for whatever reason.

Thanks Brian. I'm on Safari and Chrome, and it's not working. Do you know if that fix (adding the code string to the Global Header) will work for all browsers?

I will try it, but I reserve the right to come back with more questions.

It's a two-part fix. You need to change the actual back to top link in Themes > Layout Templates > Thread > Post List as well so that it has the class the global header code is targeting.

That code works for me in the latest version of Chrome. I've never tried it in Safari but I hadn't received any complaints.

Thanks for patiently and articulately answering my questions. I have about 10 themes. Do I need to change it in each individual theme?

Yup. Templates are theme-specific, so if you added it to all of your themes previously you'll have to update it in all of them.

You need to start your own thread, those are  the rules of this board .
