Thank god this team plays in London next week, so I can sleep through a good portion of the game. I'm sorry and for once I'm not being sarcastic.

Yikes, the Rams---Any Rams fans here?
If the Pats lose to Buffalo I'm going to have to dig a hole and hide...forever.

Who is going to give the Rams their first (and most likely only) loss?

Who is going to give the Rams their first (and most likely only) loss? The Rams actually have a pretty tough schedule coming up for the next month: Packers today, then Saints, Seahawks, and Chiefs. I have a feeling that the Packers will be the ones to (slightly) ruin their hopes and dreams, but all four look like potential perfect-season ruiners. If they come out of those games 11-0, though, then I'm not sure anything can stop them. I'm currently watching the Eagles lose to the Jaguars in London. I mean, they're technically ahead 10-6 right now, but it feels like they're losing, and we all know how this is going to end.

That way, when they lose, you can say they simply met your expectations, and when they win, they've exceeded them.

Bengals v. Buccs turned into a nail biter after starting out as a hoot. Of all people, I can’t believe Randy Bullock was the one responsible for a last minute win for Cincinnati.
Admittedly, luck was a component. He had the fortune of being able to kick the field goal between problematic wind gusts.

Buccaneers. YOU HAD ONE JOB.
I shall refer to you as the "Buccs" with two C's for the rest of the season as punishment for your misdeeds.

I knew Cincinnati didn’t have a shot against New Orleans, so I made no definite plans to watch the game. Still, I didn’t expect quite the spectacular handing-of-butt ceremony that occurred.
I turned the game on with about 1:22 left in the first half and saw the 21-7 score. In less than one in-game minute, the Saints scored two touchdowns with an interception sandwiched between, and the TV was swiftly turned off again. I don’t need that aggravation, not when I still have NCAAF and the perplexing saga of Ohio State this season.
Looking at the rest of the season, the Bengals should be able to pull off a 10-6 record, which I won’t say no to. The Ravens aren’t a given, despite the Bengals already having beaten them earlier in the season, so I’m prepared for 9-7. A winning record is a winning record, however you slice it. I’m predicting wins against the Browns (x2), Broncos, and Raiders, with a loss to the Chargers. I’m at the point of just assuming losses against the Steelers, especially when playing in Pittsburgh—but a season-ending win against Crybaby Ben would feel so, so good. I might just be chasing the dragon at this point.
Also, Tennessee spanked New England 34-10? What world are we living in? Follow up: can I stay a little bit longer?
