Hi This was a feature of Mozilla Firefox which they have ceased to support in their browser. It was never a feature of the forum, however, you are able to add width and height declarations manually to the BBCode to change the dimensions. For example: Normal [img src="//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/cool.png" alt="8-)" class="smile"] Modified height and width: [img src="//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/cool.png" alt="8-)" class="smile" style="width: 150px; height: 150px]

Forum URL: writersexpressforum.proboards.comI use PostImage for images, have done for years. In Preview mode it used to be possible to resize images, now it isn't. Why? Hi Chloe There was a change in Firefox, so if you're using that, the resize function won't work. But Chris wrote a script to place in your GLOBAL HEADER to fix that. Originally posted in this thread: link, and I've quoted the post below: Now I remember why I switched from Firefox to Chrome... After some brutal debugging (still cringing) it seems the command requires a user initiated action except when it doesn't! Give this one a try, if your default is bbcode then you'll need to switch to preview then back to bbcode then back to preview to enable the feature (you should see text appear on the preview tab then fade away once the feature enables) <script>
$(document).on('wysiwygcreate', function(ev){
if( !jQuery.ui.wysiwyg.prototype.editors.visual.document.execCommand('enableObjectResizing', false, true) && "undefined" !== typeof InstallTrigger){
var switchEditor = jQuery.ui.wysiwyg.prototype.switchEditor;
jQuery.ui.wysiwyg.prototype.switchEditor = function newSwitchEditor(){
switchEditor.apply(this,arguments);
setTimeout(()=>{
if(jQuery.ui.wysiwyg.prototype.editors.visual.document.execCommand('enableObjectResizing', false, true)){
jQuery.ui.wysiwyg.prototype.switchEditor = switchEditor;
$('#menu-item-visual').setStatus('Image Resizing Enabled')
}else console.log('Could not turn on image resizing')
},5);
}
}else if("undefined" !== typeof InstallTrigger){$('#menu-item-visual').setStatus('Image Resizing Enabled') }
});
</script>
Please let me know if that solves your problem.
