OK, but the IMDB2 forum is not my forum. It's just a forum that I am a member of. But I was also testing this out on my forum and the results were the same. The login button does nothing when clicked on and I don't have that smilie dropdown plugin installed on my forum ( http://tvfansonline.proboards.com) However, I do have quite a few other plugins installed.

I'm not experiencing the same problem on your forum. Have you changed anything since you posted? Is it the same login button?

SafeInSanity, I'm not experiencing it either. I would start by trying a different browser, and trying in incognito mode. See if either of those makes a difference. And to be clear, is this for desktop or mobile versions?

Seems to be working on my tablet/Android now. I had to click the login button twice though.

Unfortunately, fixing this problem by updating the Smilie Dropdown plugin causes another bug as a result of that version of the plugin. Multiple users were having HTML tags inserted into their message body and displayed as text. I.E. Assuming is one of the images used by that plugin, what should be: ... will instead display as this... ... in their message. It is a bug specific to the current version and this was why an older version was being used on that board. Now that issue has returned.

bartlesby, I have been unable to replicate this on my own forum. If this is an issue, you should alert the forum's admin so they can decide how they want to proceed in regards to the plugin. It's possible the plugin is conflicting with code from another source (such as another plugin, or header code, etc.)

It's possible the plugin is conflicting with code from another source (such as another plugin, or header code, etc.) It was just the plugin itself having some issues with a specific method of inserting smilies on a couple of browsers. I got in contact with Todge over the weekend and he worked out a fix. So I think this one is solved all around.

Yup, the issue was being created when a member entered the smiley code into the 'preview' pane of the WYSIWYG editor. I had never dreamt that a code would be enterd into that side of the editor when the dropdown would enter the smiley directly, and so didn't even attempt to tackle it originally. Version 3.2.6 fixes this issue.

Todge, the update plugin has been approved and is available in the plugin library.
